This is an original acrylic and mixed media painting on a snowboard.  I begin by prepping the surface, patching the holes and painting it with white gesso.  I use crumpled white tissue paper and glue to create texture in the mountains and trees. After the many layers of tissue paper have dried, I paint with acrylic paint. I use brushes and a palette knife to apply the paint. The surface has a varnish on it, to protect the surface from water damage.  The snowboard art comes ready to hang.
